Warranty & Repairs

At Foundation Lines, every product is thoughtfully designed and crafted using carefully selected materials built for durability and everyday use. While our gear is made to last, we understand that, on rare occasions, a repair or hardware replacement may be necessary. For that reason, we proudly stand behind our work with a warranty on all handmade items.

What’s Covered

Our warranty applies to defects related to hardware and craftsmanship. Covered issues may include:

• Scissor snaps that break or fail to function properly
• Buckles that break or stop working
• Rivets, D-rings, or O-rings that fail due to assembly-related issues

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not extend to damage caused by normal wear, misuse, or your dog’s behavior. Examples of exclusions include:

• Damage from chewing, biting, scratching, or clawing
• Natural color variation or fading due to age, sun exposure, water, or natural oils from your dog’s coat
• Changes in texture over time
• Oxidation or tarnishing of brass hardware, including any marking it may leave on Biothane
• Wear to chrome-plated hardware or black-coated finishes
• Damage caused by improper use our products (bigger dogs used for puppy products).

Please note: Shipping costs to and from our studio for warranty repairs are the responsibility of the customer.
